Does this property have an Application fee?

Yes. There is a non-refundable application fee of $240.

Is an advanced payment required?

Yes. To secure your accommodation, a fee of $600 is due which is comprises of the $240 application fee, a $230 departure clean fee and a $130 security deposit.

Is there a cancellation fee once I have secured an apartment?

If you wish to cancel more than 28 days before your contract commences, the cost will be $240. Otherwise the full $600 cancellation fee will apply.

Do I need to pay a departure clean fee?

Yes, a departure cleaning fee of $230 will be requested upon application.

If I wanted to break my contract, what are the costs associated with this?

Early Termination Fee applies if you break your contract. The fee is equivalent to two (2) week’s current occupancy fee paid prior to departure. This amount cannot be deducted from the Security Deposit. The Resident acknowledges and agrees that if he/she has breached the Licence to Occupy: the Occupancy Fee must be paid until another Resident is found and commences his/her residency, or until the Licence to Occupy ends, whichever occurs first; if the Occupancy Fee is not paid, then it will be deducted from the Security Deposit; and should the amount of the Security Deposit be insufficient to cover the Occupancy Fee the Resident(s) will be liable to pay the difference.

What electricity cost am I responsible for?

Electricity costs are included into your occupancy fees.

How much is the Internet / WIFI? Who is the provider and how much bandwidth do I have?

Internet access and WIFI is provided by Vostronet and unlimited WIFI is included in your occupancy fees.

Are car parking spaces available?

No but there are free bicycle spaces available.

Can an extra guest stay with me and what is the cost and duration allowed?

No additional guests are allowed.

Do you offer after hours check-in?

Yes, by prior arrangement only. Please contact us to make these arrangements.

What is the process for arranging an after hours check-in?

Residential Life Program

Heading off to Uni can be incredibly exciting, but leaving behind the safe and familiar to embark on a new challenge – often in a new city, filled with new faces and experiences – can also be quite daunting.

We’ve got a fix for that. We call it our Residential Life Program and, as the name suggests, it’s all about building a sense of community through social events, group activities and adventure.

You’ll learn new skills, improve your wellbeing and make lifelong friendships. You’ll be there for others, and your fellow residents and staff will be there for you.

Residents get far more than a room at UniLodge. They get each other.

During the time of my stay here, I’ve been to so many places and done so many activities that I wouldn’t really have the time to plan nor the budget to sign up for all of it. Such as paintball, golf, laser tag, surfing, movies on the roof, ping pong, bowling, karaoke and many, many more. All for free! I know no one would want to miss out on that!
