By selecting on the room type you wish to reserve; you will be directed to the USYD website where you can submit an application online. Currently there is no availability for new bookings at this property.

Q: What kind of contracts are on offer?

48 week or 26 week contracts are on offer to all USYD students.

Q: What does my rent include?

A fully furnished room, all utilities are included, access to unlimited internet and Wi-Fi, use of our common facilities and ability to participate in our Residential Life Program.

Q: Do you have car parking facilities?

Yes, you can lease a secure basement car park for $25/week. Speak to Regiment Reception staff about leasing one today.

Q: When do I pay my rent?

Rent is due every second Tuesday. You can view if you have any outstanding charges on your account via the USYD student portal.

Q: How does my mail get to me?

Each unit has a letterbox which is situated on the side of the building on Darlington Road. A letterbox key is in your apartment. Parcels must be accepted by the resident or collected from the Post Office if instructed by Australia Post.

Q: What do I need to buy before I can move in?

When you arrive, your room will be already furnished with a bed, mattress, desk and chair. You will need to provide your own linen. Beds are king single beds. Kitchen & Linen packs can be ordered via the UniLodge YourShop page. You can customise your room with posters, pictures and decorations. Essential items to bring with you are bed linen (sheets, pillow, doona, blankets), towels, washing powder, laundry basket, clothes hangers, tea-towels, personal toiletries and clothing.

LIVE IN THE ACADEMIC HEART OF SYDNEY

Darlington House is located on Darlington Road, on the outskirts of University of Sydney Campus. It offers shared accommodation, featuring 2-,3-,4- and 5-bedroom apartments.

The accommodation is structured as shared apartments, with individual separate bedrooms each with king size single bed and mattress, bedside table, cupboard, study desk, chair and lamp. The apartments all feature a fully furnished living area with sofas, a dining table and chairs, essential kitchen items such as a fridge, freezer, stove (cooker) and microwave, plus a vacuum cleaner and wall heater. All apartments have communal bathrooms for exclusive use of apartment residents only.

In addition, all residents are encouraged to take part in the frequent and culturally diverse social activities organised by the Darlington House staff. There are friendly sporting competitions with other on-campus residences as well as events just for Darlington House residents.
