No. The RTA does not permit charging tenants a fee for processing an application
Yes. To secure an apartment, the Tenant must pay two week’s advanced rent and a Bond (security deposit) of four weeks' rent prior to arrival.
Yes cancellations with less than 28 days’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to 2 weeks rent.
Secured car parking is available at $35 per week, but spaces are limited. Bicycles are parked in a secure bike store room with camera surveillance.
Yes - The departure clean fee is $185 per room.
A signed contract is a legal commitment and not to be taken lightly. Therefore, there are serious penalties if you choose to end your lease early.
Your responsibility to pay rent continues until the rental contract ends or a new renter is found. Penalties may also include costs associated with the lease break, such as advertising costs, lease break fees, etc.
The decision to lease break could also damage your rental record.
Utility charges are included in your rent.
Unlimited internet is included in weekly rent for lease agreements that are 6 months or longer.
The internet provider is Vostronet.
Yes. A mattress protector is provided for you at commencement and you must use it in order to protect the mattress in room. A replacement can be provided at $44 per protector.
Yes, you will need to select an insurance provider that best suits your needs. This is not included in your rent.

Residents may check-in Monday to Friday from 2pm to 4pm (except public holidays).

Please email reception at reception.darwin@unilodge.com.au at least five working days before the arrival/check-in date. Upon arrival, please call 08 8942 0706 and press "0" when prompted OR dial 88# from the intercom located on the left side of the entry door and follow instructions. Our after-hours staff will come down to assist you.
In order to have access to an after-hours room key, the resident will need to sign the Occupancy Agreement prior to access key being given. The resident will have access to the room until the next working day at which point the resident must-see reception to finalise all remaining paperwork.
We accept couples at UniLodge Darwin if at least 1 resident is a currently enrolled student studying at any tertiary level institution. Please enquire with reception for more information.
