What's On at UniLodge Royal Melbourne
It’s been a busy start to 2021 here at UniLodge Royal Melbourne with our residents participating in events such as baking cookies in our communal kitchen, to planting and decorating our communal herb garden in our sun-drenched courtyard. After 8 months of lockdown, it feels amazing to be able to use our common areas again!
We have a huge Residential Life program of events created for you by you! Our Residential Advisor (RA) team have worked hard to create fun events for you to enjoy throughout each month, and they cover areas such as health & wellbeing, community, social and academic. They’re super fun and a fantastic way of meeting the people you live with and to make new friends. We understand that meeting new people can be a bit intimidating but, we’re here to help you! What’s more, it’s not hard to want to spend lots of time in our huge common lounge watching your favourite show on the large TV, cooking in our kitchen or taking in the views from our fantastic rooftop!
Our reception is open for you from 8 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday, where you are more than welcome to come and say hi. Our Customer Service Manager, Violet, and Residential Life Coordinator, Danii, are here to help you if you need it or simply to have a chat. One important tip for living here at UniLodge Royal Melbourne is to remember to save the Residential Advisor (RA) phone number onto your phone. Why? Because you never know when you’ll lock yourself out of your room, or worse, the building! Our RA Team are on-call outside of office hours and will come to the rescue when you reach out. How helpful is that!
As much as we love the fun side of University living, our team at UniLodge Royal Melbourne also understand that you may need a bit of help with the admin side of living on your own. We run helpful events such as resume writing and budgeting and will take you on walking tours to your University to help get you acquainted with the area.
Remember that you have your very own mailbox, so when you come down to say hi, check your mail as well. You don’t want to miss the important stuff like your university ID and bank account statements or your birthday card from the family. We will also hold any packages for you so rest assured that your orders from the Iconic or JB Hi-Fi are safe and sound with us.
Finally, our team can’t wait to help get you settled in and to assist you on your university journey. Whether you’re a first-year or a postgraduate student, we’re here to help you in anyway way we can to make your stay with us a great experience!
