Getting To Know Us Series - UniLodge @ UC Campus West

Hi I’m Kylie and I would love to tell some of the interesting and fun things about UniLodge @ UC - Campus West. 

Our residents love the free dinners as part of our Residential Life and really get into some of our other events like Trivia, Pong golf, table tennis comps, volleyball and a range of other competitions. The residents here are quite competitive and love the opportunity to win vouchers. Our property is on campus, so the residents don’t have far to go for classes, and we have our own café’s, supermarket, Thai restaurant, bar and pizza bar. Happy Hour is always quite a hit! For those that enjoy reading, we have a book club where residents get together and enjoy afternoon tea whilst sharing their stories about their best reads.

There are two basketball courts just a 5-minute walk and a skateboard park which is a 10-minute walk from here. A fantastic Westfield shopping centre is only a 15-minute walk from Campus West that has every shop you will need as well as plenty of eateries. You can even bring your trolley back to Campus West and we will arrange for the supermarket to pick it up!

Feeling a bit peckish, late at night. No problem, we have Domino’s pizza on-site and open till late.

My share accommodation tip? Communicate with your housemates.  Whether by conversation over dinner, email or maybe through Whats App. Share ideas about apartment cleaning or a roster for who’s buying the toilet paper this week
