Tell us something people might not know about you?
I moved from Mexico Jan 2010 to study English and then I studied Hospitality Management at ICHM Adelaide. I have worked and lived in Perth, Port Lincoln, Gold Coast and now living in Adelaide. A quick fact about me is I have watched well over 1000 movies and 100 Tv series, my favourite movie series is Marvel.
What is your favourite room or facility here at Metro Adelaide?
Any of the Penthouse apartments are my favourite. I love that you get a view of the ocean and the city all in one. The apartment sizes are perfect for two friends wanting a larger apartment but also enough room for your own space. It’s great that each resident can personalise their own room and temperature just how they want, as each bedroom has their own air-con.
What’s your go-to restaurant in Adelaide?
I love going to Chinatown with my family as there is large variety of food to choose from. One of my favourites being The Hotpot Guy which is located on Gouger Street. I love the experience of cooking your own meal however still receiving the restaurant quality taste.
What do you love most about your job at UniLodge @ Metro Adelaide?
I love saying G’day every morning to the tenants on their way to University, I feel like a smile and a hello goes a long way. I enjoy helping residents out – teaching them to understand their lease, signing them up to events on the UniLodge APP or even helping them with cooking tips. It’s great that every day is different.
Where in Adelaide is your favourite place to go?
I love Glenelg Beach during the summer. As we live close to the Tram Line, it’s so convenient to travel down. Glenelg is full of many amazing restaurants and ending the day with a walk along the jetty while enjoying a scoop or two of ice cream is always sensational.
If you could give new residents one tip, what would it be?
To always stay in contact with your friends and family back home, having a great support system is so important when you move away from home. My other tip is to get involved with any activities that you can. Our Residential Life Program is the perfect place to make new friends and to get gain experience in an unknown place.

I would love to take my family to Italy, there’s nothing better than to relax eating pizza and pasta while enjoying a glass of wine.
