Yes Save on the rent but not on the space with our 6 bedroom apartments, which are perfect for sharing with a group of friends or meeting new ones.
Bond A Bond equivalent to four weeks rent is payable to the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) at the commencement of your lease prior to obtaining keys. The RTA is the government body who holds this deposit on behalf of both the tenant and landlord.  These funds can be claimed by UniLodge on behalf of the owner if the resident owes money for rent, damages, and/or any other costs at the end of the tenancy. The Bond is not the same as paying rent in advance. The Bond will be refunded to the resident by the RTA once the apartment is vacated, the Property Manager has inspected the property and refers to the entry and exit condition reports and provided there is no damage and no outstanding amounts.
Advanced Deposit A Deposit as specified in your letter of offer will be required to secure your lease. This Deposit will be used as rent in advance upon the commencement of your tenancy. In some circumstances, should you fail to commence your tenancy or cancel outside of the agreed terms, this deposit may be forfeited.

Air-conditioning Yes All apartments and bedrooms include air-conditioning… perfect for those warm Brisbane days!
Bathroom Yes Studio or 2 bedroom ensuite apartments feature your own private bathrooms, while the multi-share apartments (2 bedroom and 6 bedroom) contain shared bathrooms. Each bathroom includes a vanity or basin, mirror, shelf, shower with shower curtain, toilet, towel rail, double coat hooks. The Studio Accessible bathrooms can have accessible grab rails and a folding shower seat installed if required.
Bedrooms Secure – Electronic Yes An electronic swipe card is provided to access your apartments and all individual bedrooms, giving you safety and peace of mind when it comes to security and sharing with others.
Departure Cleaning

(at end of lease)

By arrangement Your apartment has been professionally cleaned and fitted with a new mattress protector prior to your arrival. As a condition of your lease you must leave your premises in the same condition as when you entered them. To take some of the stress out of your exit process, UniLodge has negotiated volume rates with a bond cleaning company that delivers a high standard of service that meets our expectations.
Dining Table & Chairs Yes (shared apartments) A dining table and chairs are provided in the 2 bedroom and 6 bedroom apartments to enjoy your home cooked meals. No dining table and chairs are provided in the studio apartments, but your study desk or the variety of dining areas at UniLodge South Bank is perfect for enjoying your meals.
Electricity Yes Your electricity connection and usage is included in rent – no need to pay bills at the end of each month!
Heating Yes Each bedroom features a reverse cycle heater for those days when it gets a little too cool for comfort.
Internet Yes We know internet is important when you’re a student, which is why you can enjoy the high-speed 100GB Wi-Fi internet (monthly allowance), as part of your room rent!
Kitchen Yes The kitchen in your apartment has all of your basic essentials! The studio and 2 bedroom apartments include a 2 burner electric cook top, rangehood, sink, garbage bin, microwave and fridge (172L in studio apartments; 238L in studio accessible and 2 bedroom). The 6 bedroom apartments also include the above essentials and a free standing oven unit with 4 burner cook top and fridge.

Available for purchase through Your Shop – you can order electrical appliances and other items purchased from Your Shop ready in your apartment when you arrive! It’s easy, convenient and good value – awesome! Study Desk & Chair Yes Each room includes your own study desk, chair, desk lamp and pinboard with plenty of storage. The study desks in the studio accessible apartments are height adjustable.
Water Yes Your water connection and usage is included in rent – no need to pay bills at the end of each month!
Other Inclusions Each bedroom/apartment includes a mattress protector on the bed, a bedside lamp, roller blinds, built-in wardrobe with two doors and a full length mirror, drawer unit for extra storage, and either overhead or underbed storage. The studio large and 2 bedroom apartments feature a 2 seater sofa and the 6 bedroom apartments include a 3 seater sofa, 1 seater sofa, large TV unit and large coffee table.

Bike Space Yes Bike racks are available to residents and are undercover and secure. There are a total of 424 spaces – 234 spaces in the basement and 190 spaces on ground level.
Building Security Yes Resident safety is our number one priority for UniLodge. The property features secure access to the building – no one can gain access to enter the building without an electronic swipe card or unless accompanied by a resident or staff member.
Car Park Yes Limited Parking is available for a minimum of 4 weeks at $55 per week. Priority given to students who wish to secure for their entire lease period.
Cleaning Common Areas (not inside apartments) Yes Providing our residents with a clean and welcoming environment is essential, and we do this by ensuring that the cleaning of our common areas is of a high standard.
Common Areas Yes Whether it’s studying, socialising, relaxing, there’s a space for you with the exciting common areas at UniLodge South Bank.

Ground floor

  • Relax in the Resident Lounge or Media Zone/Theatrette complete with a bean bag area to catch up on your favourite movies.
  • Challenge your friends to a game in the Games Room on ground level, which features a pool table, table tennis, 50inch TV and vending machines.
  • Cook up a storm with your friends in the Gourmet Kitchen and dining area, equipped with cooktops, rangehood, ovens, microwave, fridge, sink, and dishwasher.
