 | Jims Joke Corner Curly is appearing for his University final examination which consists of Y/N type questions. He takes his seat in the examination hall, stares at the question paper for five minutes, and then in a fit of inspiration takes his wallet out, removes a coin and starts tossing the coin and marking the answer sheet - Y for Heads and N for Tails. Within half an hour he is all done whereas the rest of the class is sweating it out. During the last few minutes, he is seen desperatley throwing the coin, swearing and sweating. The invigilator, alarmed, approaches him and asks what is going on. "Oh, I finished the exam in half an hour." he says, "Now I am rechecking my answers."

Cancer Element: Water
Cancer Strength:
The ability to nurture others is your biggest strength.
Cancer Weakness:
Fear of the bygone days coming back to the future weakens you the most.
It's time you were ruthlessly true to yourself and your real desires. Stop making compromises when it comes to complex work or relationship matters! Some problem seems terribly complex, but it's actually pretty simple. It may not have an easy solution, but if you take the hard path, you should feel a lot better very quickly. | A warm hello! Hello Everyone!
If you have seen my face wandering around the place and aren't sure who I am I would like to introduce myself...
My name is Rebecca, and I have taken up the Customer Service Manager role from Quinten who had his last day on the 23rd of June.
I would like to take the oppourtunity to invite you to come down to reception and meet me, and hope that I can provide you with any assistance you need during your stay here.
Just a few quick things about me...
I have just returned from living in the UK, with my partner who is English, so don't be surprised when you meet me that my accent isn't the usual Aussie accent, as it's hard to keep one over there!
You will also see my partner wandering around as well, so feel free to ask him for a game of pool as I am not much competiton for him!
I love pasta dishes, so any sort of Italian food will make my day!
So any recipes you may have please feel free to drop them into me at the desk or email me: csm.unsw@unilodge.com.au, and I'll be happy to swap some with you!
Until next time, take care and hopefully we can all meet soon!

 | Winter Fire Alarm Reminders And lastly a Winter Fire Alarm Reminder:
As you all know it is starting to get colder with each day and the thought of a nice steaming hot shower to warm ourselves up sounds like a great idea doesn't it?
BUT... did you know that steam from you nice hot shower can cause the fire alarms to go off?
The fire brigade are more than happy to charge you for their time, and the fee is $555.00!
Not a nice thought is it? So please take a small precaution when you are in bathroom, if you notice alot of steam, slowly open your bathroom door, if you open it quickly all that steam goes straight to the fire alarm.
More fire precautions...
When cooking we ask you to take care also, please open your rangehood and open your balcony door, these small and easy steps will help to ensure the fire alarm does not go off, as again you will be charged from the fire brigade.
And dont forget to keep watch of your food, as something can boil over or burn and both can ruin your lovely meal, and cause the fire brigade to come out.
($555.00 is ALOT of money to pay for such a small mistake but Unilodge are unable to lessen this fine as it has been set from NSW Fire brigade) If you are unsure about any of these details please come and see us at reception | |
